The Senja Bungalow
consists of four pavilions and a courtyard.
The pavilions are linked by walkways centered
around the central courtyard. The courtyard
is divided into two sections. The first
holds a natural garden while the other is
a paved area that acts as an outdoor living
room. The design of the house centers around
the idea that each room of the house should
offer a different experience.
Each pavilion would
have an unobstructed view overlooking the
lowlands. The simplicity of the design allows
the owners of the house, a full self-expression
within the pavilions yet blending with nature
in its exteriors by using earthy materials.
